Copyright Protection:
- The concerned party submits an official letter to the Technology Transfer Office at the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, including the title of the material to be protected under copyright, along with the content of the material provided on a flash memory. The submission must also include the full names of the author(s) and copies of their personal identification documents.
- The registration request is reviewed by the Intellectual Property Committee.
- The Dean submits the recommendation of the Intellectual Property Committee to His Excellency the President of the University for an appropriate decision.
- If the University decides to proceed with protecting the newly created institutional intellectual property, the Office undertakes the management of all matters related to the filing process and the preparation of the required technical and legal documentation. The Office may also engage external entities for this purpose under agreements specifically concluded for this aim.
