The Scientific Research Department was established to assume responsibility for organizing, coordinating and following up on scientific research affairs at the university. From the beginning, the department has been keen to perform its role in the best way to advance scientific research, develop it, and advance it to the best possible level within the available circumstances and capabilities, based on the university’s keenness to develop knowledge by organizing, encouraging, and supporting scientific research, and following up on its dissemination and application of its results in a way that leads to community service. In various fields of knowledge.

The university allocates to the deanship in its annual budget appropriate sums of money to support research projects submitted by faculty members, which the deanship sponsors with support and follow-up until they are completed by their owners and published in national, Arab and international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
